"Surfer Girl" (Beach Boys) and "Desparado" (The Eagles) WERE among my children's lullabies when I put them to bed. I have to admit, however, that I would never have thought of Metallica or the Ramones. The thing about a Ramones song is that they all played in less than 2 minutes because of the furious pace of the Ramones' playing. These guys have stretched a 2 minute song to 10 minutes, easily.
